We will share major updates - from ethics revisions and DEI progress to new and updated Position Statements, task force highlights, and Expo 2026 planning - inviting members to engage in shaping the association’s future.
Speakers
Ms. Murdock is a staff nurse at Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center. She is presently serving as President Elect of the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN). She is an AORN Journal author and national conference speaker about DEI and trauma care. Darlene holds an MSN in Education from WGU, a BSN from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, B.A. in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Murdock is recognized as a proven leader in the perioperative nursing profession, demonstrating an innovative and growth mindset. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge, committed to lifelong learning, and dedicated to providing safe, compassionate care to her patients.
